Art, Fashion and Design spur us to appreciate life. With this attitude in mind and under the curatorship of Dalmazio Ambrosioni, the Rivabella Art Gallery invited Daniele Basso for a solo exhibition across these worlds, in a sort of showcase of contemporary times. In a period where digital technologies isolate and keep people away from each other, and the elderly are left alone in spite of their experience, the exhibition dialogues interactively with the elderly: creativity in exchange for experience. The new "Web POP Icons" collection where technology becomes an instrument to live contemporary times in a social and proactive way is shown in preview. The exhibition also features the GlocalDesign, Swarovski, Mila Shön, Molteni&C, SanPatrignano and Haute Material collections; the unique pieces of the Federico Fellini Foundation already exhibited in New York among the outstanding pieces of the Made in Italy; the newest mirrors in cooperation with artist Ludmilla Radchenko; the specially designed installation of 25 "MrBots", i.e. a POP icon lamp designed for Slide; the artwork "Kryste" already shown at the 54th Venice Biennale (SLIDEart editor, curator Luca Beatrice) and in Turin with Vittorio Sgarbi; in addition to many pieces of the Limited Edition collections of GlocalDesign. In total, more than 30 mirror-made artworks synthesize the experiences, the themes and the artistic path of Daniele Basso through Fashion, Design and Art and lead visitors to a world of ethereal lightness, between dream and reality, in a metaphor of the contemporary society coming to terms with its own desires.
