ART AND FASHION TOGETHER
IN THE INSTALLATION OF DANIELE BASSO
"Lost in Blue" is in the name of the temporary work "Site Specific" hosted in the rooms of Verrone Castle.
During the cultural program and the exhibition "Fashion protagonist: from the Middle Ages to the 21st century" curated by Miss Daniele Fresc, the artist Daniele Basso presents the temporary site-specific installation "Lost in Blue".
The event took place in the prestigious rooms of the Verrone Castle, inside Falseum - Museum of False and Deception from 20 May to 3 June 2018
The artist also exhibited the project "Life Mask".
LOST IN BLUE
Masks are clothes of the soul.
We change them according to situations. Some deceive. Others protect us. The best enhance our qualities. We all are more or less authentic characters in which we risk to lose ourselves.
In the same way some clothes transcend fashions to become the expression of unique moments of Humanity. Art pursues these moments that transforms into emotions...
In the tower of Verrone Castle, now home to Falseum - Museum of False and Deception, we find ourselves lost in ourselves, in search of the best mask!
Mask that we have to chose with an exact awareness of us and our desires.
Because this establishes its effectiveness and ethics, both individual and collective.
