Casa Regis/Center of Culture and Contemporary Art in Mosso Santa Maria hosts a collective exhibition, coordinated with SLOW ART DAY, an art event of growing international importance.
The concept is of "radical inclusiveness": anyone can enter into a relationship with the work of art. We need to take the time to really observe the art in front of us, without first relying on a critical text or even a title. The explanatory part, accompanied by tea in the garden, is planned afterwards, with a conversation, with a meeting with the artist, with a few words from the curator.
The name of the exhibition is simply SLOW ART. Only 5 works, one per room, reserved for one visitor at a time, for a maximum of 10 minutes. There are also five artists on display, very different from each other: Daniele Basso, Sissi Castellano, Michela Cavagna, Carla Crosio and L. Mikelle Standbridge.
The sculptor Daniele Basso, known for his works in mirror-polished metal, presents "Achill (a) / Progetto Frame" in which "Looking at oneself - he explains - is an ancestral gesture, between public and private, which gave rise to the company".
