At the Etoile Restaurant, on the Port of Marina di Pisa, Daniele Basso and Lorenzo De Silvestri were the protagonists of Invasione di Campo, a series of encounters between art and football born from the idea of Aldo Dolcetti, coach, in collaboration with Matteo Graniti , art curator and moderator of the evenings.
"An extraordinary evening - says Daniele Basso - in which unthinkable but profound relationships between these two distant worlds were born. Lorenzo and I, with our human component full of passion, spontaneously found a common and powerful line of dialogue ... And It was an opportunity to share emotions and understand how intuition, while acting in a very different form, arises from curiosity and courage to accept the challenge, to go beyond the limits that others imagine for us, towards the discovery of our true nature".
Invasione di Campo attempts the confrontation between an artist and a professional football player by trying to find points of connection between the two disciplines and to reflect on the creative principles and dynamics that characterize the two apparently so distant activities. The artist and the football player told about themselves and the most significant emotions of their career starting from an anecdote or a work exhibited exclusively for the evening.
