On the proposal of Mr. Mario Draghi, President of the Council of Ministers, Mr. Sergio Mattarella, President of the Italian Republic, with a decree of 2 June 2022 conferred on Mr. Daniele Basso the honor of Knight of the Order "Al Merito della Repubblica Italiana”.
The honor was presented by the Prefect Franca Tancredi on the occasion of the usual greetings and best wishes for Christmas 2022.
The Order "To the merit of the Italian Republic" is the first of the national orders of chivalry, in which the head is the President of the Republic. You are awarded an honor from the Order "To the merit of the Italian Republic" for having acquired merits towards the nation in the fields of science, literature, the arts, the economy and in the disengagement of public offices and activities carried out for social purposes, philanthropic and humanitarian, as well as for long and distinguished services in civilian and military careers.
