芽 ME-GERMOGLIARE_2024

“In the encounter with another culture, what you can bring with you is what really matters.”

Inspired by Bruno Munari's portable sculptures, the “芽 ME – GERMOGLIARE” project expresses its full force in the concept of sharing, both as a mental attitude and as a physical act. The thought and culture that Mazda represents in the automotive industry become the “seed” of profound messages and content, which in portable works, populate desks and inspire as many people as possible to excellence.

The work, very small and produced the 104 pieces, is composed of two circular shapes that house two symbolic compositions: one dynamic in respect of nature, a trend now confirmed in the automotive world, in which the Mazda logo becomes, through change, a metaphorical sprout for the future; the other liquid like society and like the water that unites Vercelli and Biella, which is centrally transformed into an eye, to express the centrality of choice as the supreme subjective act through which man becomes the protagonist of his own life. Two elements to be bent by hand, until the balance is found so that they can be supported, testifying to the union of thought and action as the privileged path for craftsmanship of excellence.
