The works of Daniele Basso among the protagonists at the Unesco Creative Cities Forum
The Biella Creative City Unesco association, of which Daniele Basso is councilor for the Municipality, organized the first Forum of the Unesco Creative Cities. Main themes Education, Mountains and Textile world from a point of view of sustainability.
During the mountain working session one of the guests was Andy Varallo, president of both Dolomiti Superski and Ski World Cup Alta Badia Committee, for which Daniele Basso created the Gigant sculpture. Sculpture now became universal symbol of the Alta Badia territory in the splendid setting of the Unesco Dolomites Park. Marco Pappalardo, marketing director Dolomiti Superski, was a guest in attendance.
In the session dedicated to know-how and craftsmanship, the president of CNA Biella Gionata Pirali recalled the value of the collaboration between Art and Business that generated the Bimbo Faber sculpture created by Daniele Basso for the celebration of the 50th anniversary of CAN Biella.
